Аннотація: The article examines the issues o f attracting investments by enterprises o f the fru it and vegetable industry. The current state o f development o f the fru it and vegetable industry in Ukraine over the recent years is analyzed.
It is determined that domestic enterprises are not always competitive compared to the western enterprises in terms o f quality and cost ofproduction. The importance o f increasing the level o f innovative activities o f enterprises o f the fru it and vegetable industry is substantiated. The factors that reduce the investment attractiveness o f the fruit and vegetable industry have been identified. The lack ofproper government support, deterioration o f equipment, lack o f adequate funding fo r innovations, inaccessibility o f modern technologies fo r storage, packaging and transportation ofproducts fo r small businesses have a negative impact on the development o f the fru it and vegetable industry. Guidelines on the increase o f the volume o f attracted investments by the enterprises o f the fru it and vegetable industry have been proposed.
