Аннотація: The article is devoted to the research of theoretical aspects and practical application of scientific recommendations on management and assessment of financial condition of an insurance company, defining a system of indicators that could characterize different aspects of financial activity of an insurance company, as well as finding ways to improve the assessment of the financial condition of insurance companies in Ukraine. The dynamics of the main indicators of PJSC NASC "ORANTA" is analyzed, the financial stability, reliability and solvency of the enterprise are analyzed, the financial condition of PJSC "NASC" ORANTA "is analyzed with the help of early warning tests. The analysis shows the key problems of the insurance market and the problems that hinder its development. The forecast of further development of insurance companies in the Ukrainian market is also given.
