Summary: The article explores theoretical and practical aspects of economic expertise in Ukraine. The importance of economic expertise in resolving controversial issues has been determined. The types of forensic examinations in Ukraine, according to the current legislation, and the types of examinations under the procedural legislation are considered. The focus is on the method of conducting economic expertise. The system and peculiarities of types and tasks of economic expertise are outlined, the objects of research of economic expertise are characterized. The basic conditions for conducting economic expertise are determined. It is determined that the coordination of expert activities is carried out by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine through the Central Expert Qualification Commission through certification for the purpose of issuing a certificate of a court expert. The activity of experts in the field of economic expertise is characterized. Such an important procedural moment of economic expertise as the design of materials for examination is disclosed. The procedure of organization of conducting of examinations and registration of their results is covered. Some problems, obstacles and constraints of development in the field of economic expertise and directions of their solution are characterized.
