Summary: The article establishes a causal relationship between economic security and efficiency of the enterprise and hypothesizes about the need to expand approaches to analytical evaluation of efficiency, taking into account the security priorities of the enterprise. It has been proved that in the present conditions, the effectiveness of the activities of domestic enterprises is characterized not only by achieving a positive value of the financial result (profit), but also by the ability to withstand modern economic challenges to ensure the continuity of statutory activities.
