Summary: As the sea is modeled in a drop of water, the article reflects the tragic fate of individual representatives of the Polish national minority during the period of massive repressions in Vinnytsia region. Repressions were one of the creators of the "sugar Donbass". Brief documentary sketches about the director, engineering and technical workers illustrate the violence from the side of the totalitarian system. These facts logically contribute, and from this point of view continue the study of the problems of the "Great Terror" in Ukraine in 1937-1938.
