Summary: The article deals with the problem connected with the language competence of future agrarian specialists. It has been studied that the professional competence provides students with the knowledge and skills to obtain information effectively and efficiently. It defines the structure of communicative competence and for realization of scientific researches in the process of educational activity. A set of exercises and tasks has been determined, and a number of problems regarding to the definition of hidden elements of communicative competence and the ways of their solution have been outlined.
