Summary: The article explores the concept of financial stability. The mechanism of financial stability calculations is substantiated. It has been researched that financial stability enables the enterprise to maneuver its own funds and
determines the degree of independence of the enterprise from external sources of financing. The stages of calculation of financial stability are considered. All liquidity ratios of the studied enterprise are determined. Generally speaking, the main source of financing for SFG "Svitoch" is equity. It is stated that financial forecasting will be able to provide a stabilizing role in the activity of the enterprise. It is concluded that the system of absolute and relative indicators is used to characterize the financial stability of the enterprise. The most generalizable absolute indicators of financial sustainability are the adequacy or inconsistency of sources of funds to form inventories and costs, that is, the difference between the amount of sources of funds and the amount of inventories and expenses.
On the basis of these results, it can be predicted that overall financial stability of SFG "Svitoch" is characterized by low level of financial risk, but risks of economic space significantly affect the activity of the enterprise.
