Summary: The main components of the potential are primary agricultural wastes (straw, corn for production of corn and sunflower) and energy crops, whose cultivation on an industrial scale is actively developing in the European Union. Depending on the yield of agricultural crops, this potential varies within the range of 27-37 million tons of fuel equivalent per year, which accounts for 13-18% of consumption of primary fuels in Ukraine.
