Summary: Raspberry – one of the oldest fruit crops in Europe. It was discovered in the 1st century AD Greece on Mount Ida. Therefore, and it received its scientific name - Ideus. However, initially it was used only as a medicinal plant. It was only in the 4th century of raspberries is mentioned as a garden culture.
