Аннотація: The article investigates the dynamics of the grain mixture layer on the plate spreader of a vibratory separator used to increase the efficiency of grain cleaning. The peculiarities of grain particle motion in the field of centrifugal forces and vibration oscillations that affect the processes of their distribution and separation are considered. The regularities of changes in the trajectory of particles on a plate surface depending on the frequency and amplitude of vibrations, the angle of inclination of the spreader, and its rotation speed are analyzed. On the basis of mathematical modeling, the equations of dynamics of the grain mixture, which is considered as a two-phase medium, are compiled. The equations of particle motion are proposed, which take into account the influence of external forces, as well as the interaction between grain components and impurities. The kinematic features of grain movement, its redistribution, and separation of light fractions are described. The influence of the design and technological parameters of the plate spreader on the separator`s efficiency is investigated. Studies have shown that oscillatory movements contribute to the uniform mixing of the components of the grain mixture, ensuring their homogeneous distribution. This creates favorable conditions for the effective separation of fractions during separation, which improves the quality of grain cleaning and increases the overall process performance. The results obtained can be used to optimize the operation of vibratory separators, improve their design characteristics, and adapt them to different types of grain raw materials. The proposed approaches can be applied in technological processes of primary grain processing, providing an effective combination of separation and premixing functions.
