Summary: The article is devoted to the study of the features of the labor motivation system for IT specialists. Approaches to the interpretation of the concept of "motivation" by Ukrainian scientists have been clarified. Three groups of methods for motivating employees have been identified, it is indicated that in any spheres of activity, the methods of motivation are similar, but there are a number of factors that affect the degree of satisfaction of the needs of employees. Also, the dynamics of changes in the number of IT workers is studied and the Professional competencies of IT specialists are highlighted. The four main stages of creating a motivation system for IT workers and the factors that determine the level of comfort in a company are given. The main motivational factors in the context of working with IT-personnel are considered.
