Аннотація: The article examines the relevance of credit security of small and medium-sized businesses as an external source of financing. Lending was disclosed as an important source of financial support for the operation of small
and medium-sized enterprises, analysis of credit provision of these enterprises abroad, including Germany. The analysis of the credit support of the enterprises in the regions of Ukraine is carried out. Legislative acts on lending to small and medium-sized enterprises are outlined. The actual offers of credit products for financing the development of small and medium business are characterized. It is substantiated and proved that the credit security
of the functioning of small and medium-sized enterprises in the current economic environment is aimed at developing a system of interaction with the financial sector of the economy, which is a significant factor of
financial growth, improving the economic situation in a competitive environment. Alternative credit instruments are proposed.
