Аннотація: The author in the article investigates the qualitative indicators of personnel development as one of the important structural components of his motivation to a highperformance work in order to increase the efficiency of the machine-building enterprises. At the same time, the development of new occupations requires substantial material resources. Consequently, according to the results of the research on the main characteristics of the personnel of the machine-building enterprises of Khmelnytskyi and Vinnytsia regions, it can be argued that its qualitative indicators, which influence the motivation and stimulation of workers, are not sufficient, which requires the development of special measures and programs for their improvement.
