Summary: The article considers some legal aspects of legal regulation of land use and protection. The principles on the basis of which the legal regulation of administrative activity is carried out are analyzed. It is determined that management in the field of land use and protection is one of the types of social management, and in the process of implementing state policy in the field of land use government and officials perform regulatory, incentive, control and punitive functions, which are analyzed in the article.
