Summary: Trichinellosis is a dangerous disease caused by larvae and mature nematodes of the genus Tchrichinella of the species Tchrichinella spiralis (the most important is the capsular species), thrichinella pseudospiralis, thrichi-nella riag and (non-capsular species). T. spiralis has subspecies: T. spiralis spiralis, T. spiralis britovi, T spiralis nativa, T. spiralis murrelli, T. spiralis nelsoni (capsular).
