Summary: The article analyzes the current state and outlines the main trends in the information technology development for the needs of the logistics industry. It is noted that the introduction of modern digital technology in logistics
will not only change business models and strategic planning but also significantly improve the interaction between all participants of the logistics process, as well as increase productive efficiency and, consequently, increase the competitiveness of logistics companies. The expectable impact of the introduction of real-time technology, blockchain, artificial intelligence, digital counterparts and modern robotic engineering, 3D-modeling on the further development and the general environmental situation both in Ukraine and the world is described. The characteristics
of fulfillment operators functioning in Ukraine and the main list of services they provide in the field of logistics are given, the geography of location of their main facilities in the country is outlined, which characterizes the
places of greatest need for full range of logistics services.
