Summary: Many scientists and experts attribute the revival of the Ukrainian agricultural sector of the economy and the solution of social problems of the Ukrainian countryside to the development of the country’s oil and fat complex, as the existing potential of this budget-forming industry is extremely large.
The article examines the processes of development of the oil and fat industry, as well as the main tools and
levers of the economic mechanism of its operation. The state of development of the oil and fat industry of the region
is analyzed. The strategic prospects for the development of oil and fat enterprises on the basis of SWOT-analysis
are substantiated.
