Summary: The article considers the discrete process of development and effective functioning of the fiscal system of the European Union and Ukraine. A comprehensive methodological approach to the development, sustainability and efficiency of the fiscal system, which provides structural restructuring of the economic system and affects the ‘fiscal maneuver’ of the initial formative component, balances the specific interests of all subjects of redistributive relations.
