Summary: Experiments have confirmed that the efficiency of wastewater disinfection using the ultrasonic cavitation is ensured by taking into account the size and structure of microorganisms. The intensity of ultrasonic vibrations is shown to influence the specified process. The recommendations for constructing ultrasonic cavitators are provided that ensure a high intensity level of ultrasonic vibrations in process liquid volume.
